Blockchain supervillain Bayneko is a digital artist known for “the biggest airdrop in the history of blockchain” — SuperRare.
Bayneko’s art features self-captured photomicrographs — images taken through a microscope depicting highly detailed microscopic structures invisible to the naked eye — often processed with glitch techniques.
Recently, Bayneko minted a collection of AI-generated cell studies on the Tezos blockchain.

At the intersection of art, science, and technology, Micrographic Studies are a collection of collaborative artworks by digital artists Bayneko and typo.eth, minted on the Ethereum blockchain.
Referencing a selection of Bayneko’s self-captured, high-resolution photomicrographs, typo.eth composed a series of five Micrographic Studies that aim to challenge viewers’ sense of perception and scale, while inspiring wonder of matter and origin.
Four original one-of-one Micrographic Studies are offered for acquisition, with the fifth retained in Bayneko’s personal collection.
British-Canadian artist ██████ ███████, also know as typo.eth, explores abstraction, interaction, minimalism, and typography in his practice.
Typo.eth’s onchain art journey began in 2022 when he won an award from Art On Internet, judged by Brian Beccafico, former NFT specialist at Sotheby’s. This prompted him to mint his genesis onchain artwork and subsequent Glitch Studies editions, which have been collected by notable figures in the art community including Aniko Berman, Sean Bonner, Jack Butcher, Emily Edelman, Erick Calderon, Rani Jabban, Bob Loukas, SHL0MS, and Michelle Thompson.
